Welcome to the VB Discussion Board
The idea behind this Discussion board is to post questions, answers and other useful information. There are already plenty of great usenet newsgroups. If you have access to these newsgroups you might consider posting to them.
Some of the benefits of this Discussion board:
1. Relatively spam free.
2. AutoResponse. You can choose to automatically receive any response to your post.
3. Immediate update. Your posts are immediately available to everyone to read.
A discussion board is only as useful as it's participants. Actually it's only as good as what the participants do with it. Keeping this in mind, please make sure you search for an answer before posting the question. Please also keep in mind that what might be a simple programming task to you could be a big puzzle to a beginner.

Hi 'the New GUI Designers',
The new GUI looks great... but, sorry to say, not easy to use!.
1. It contains lot of graphics, and mind you not all guys have T1 connections :-)
My company has one, but since there is a real huge group working on internet/intranet applications, the (local) server is generally busy. Net result: pages load as slow as with modems!!
2. Replying (posting) is not as 'cool' as it used to be.
Previously, you just scroll down and the reply form with already filled in detials available, to just type in your replay and hit 'Post'. Now it loads altogeter a new page ( => delay) , by then you might loose the 'mood' to say something. :-)
3. Where does that button for 'Post'ing go? sometimes, I only see 2 btns [Preview Post] and [clear form] on this page. Since i was used to [Preview Post] and [Send Post] ( or something to that effect), i actually hit [Clear Form] in my attempt to reply (my mistake, i didnt reading it properly!!)... and the result is this mail...
Is it something to do with login-in and not login-in, and post as Anonymous?
Have this format for people who like graphics and have *T1* connections. :-)
It may be good idea to provide an option for simple 'text-like' (old) look.
Am i the only one finding the new GUI of dev-archive's site, not so 'cool'??
The VC's site retains the old look, atleast as of yesterday:-) !
