I think that a welcome addition to this great site would be the possibility to rate the articles posted (in a manner similar to the one in which the forum rating works).
A suggestion: the initial rating should be assigned by the maintainer of the section and should be permanent (but reviewed periodically when the article is updated). In addition to this rating there should be a sepparated user rating system.
The rating(s) should be displayed in the section index, next to the title, and the initial rating should appear in the "What's new" section and in the newsletter.
A Tucows-like rating (4 cows article :)) would be cool too.
