When a new post is created, the menu bar at the top has:

Forum Index | FAQ | Edit Profile | Send Private | Check Private | Search | Logout

Which includes a search item, but it does not get used as much as it should be. I think that there is enough white space (that is in the area above the area for creating the body and that is to the left of the subject) that an entire new sub-area could be created containing the entire search dialog as it exists now. In other words, put a copy of the search dialog right on the page used to create new posts.

Do you suppose people would be more likely to do a search if that were done?
