Preference for "Forum Index"
It would be nice to have a preference set for the forum index link. Every time I click it I would like to go directly to the C++ forum.

I bookmarked the C++ forum and the bookmark goes directly to the forum. I have a separate bookmark for the dev-archive web site main page. It works for me.

I agree with David, as we have no way to get back to the forum unless pressing BACK button multiple times. Your suggestion does not work in my particular case, as I get online through public terminals, as bookmarks, for some strange reason, are often deleted.

You could keep links in a HTML page. You could keep the page on a floppy, but you could also put it in a website. There is an abundance of web sites you could use for free. This could provide you with quick access to everything you put in the page. The only trick is being able to get to the web page initially. You could also zip up your bookmarks into a zip file that could be restored later.
I do not know how email works when using public terminals, but depending on how things work, it might help to send yourself a message with links in it.
