Login button

I see a "register" button in the row of buttons on most pages but I do not see a "login" button. This is a minor issue but it seems so easy to have a "login" button. Of course if I go to do something then I get a page for logging in on but I hope I do not have to do that every time; that is, try to do something before getting a login page.

This might be even less of a problem but I guess that my cookie data got deleted somehow, so I had to login again. If this is a temporary problem related to the conversion then it might not be an issue at all, but it has been a few days since the conversion and the automatic cookie login was working this morning I think.

Look at the bottom of the main page. Login (or Logout) options are there.

It is not where I think it would be most useful. That is, on the VC forum page, as in:

It would not be so noticeable but for some reason I need to login occasionally but evidently not everytime. For some reason it forgets about me occasionally but not always. When I login it lies to me and fills the password field with dots as if it knows my password but it does not. Perhaps this is a temporary bug but it happened to me just now so it still exists as of now.

I'll ask someone to look into this. I'm requesting a log-in button be added to the top; however, I don't know how soon this will happen.
