An interview with Xeon : XeonAPI.net

Today, we interview Xeon, the creator of the much sought-after XeonAPI.net programming platform and the line of new age tools for developers. Miss Lucy Bracy, experienced interviewer for 25 years, had the grand chance of talking with this guy.

Lucy : Hi there and good morning, Xeon! So, may I ask, how are you lately?

Xeon : I'm pretty fine! Currently, I'm trying to get rid of as much bugs in the platform as possible, but overall, as computer scientists have already verified, the XeonAPI.net platform is much more stable than any other programming platforms known. On my personal life, everything's so sweet and nice! How about you, Lucy?

Lucy : Nice here too.(smiles)

Lucy : Right there, Xeon. So, how long did you take to create this monstrous technology? Wasn't it kind of, u know....impossible and real tough?

Xeon : It was, I've to admit! I sweated all my guts and brains and stuff out just to accomplish this feat! THanks all, for your warm support!

Lucy : Maybe you would like to take a short moment to talk the folks who have helped you in a way or two?

Xeon : Thanks for sparing me the time, Lucy! Let me see...first on my list.....I've Joachim Koopman of JKS Software. He's been a real great help, I tell you! Next is Jase Jennings, a cool boy who should become a Paris modelling hunk instead of a programmer. Others include Sam Hoobs, OReubens, Bug Alert the Buggy pal, VGirish the lost mate, Andreas Masuer and last but not least, Gabriel! There's still a lot more out there!

Lucy : Ok! That's enough!(chuckles) Can you be kind enough to share with us some good tips for novice programmers?

Xeon : No! Darn it! Just kidding!(chuckles) Actually, there's only one main tip : write a true commercial program, recommendably shareware types. Because u learn a lot a lot when u write true, high quality commercial shareware, and not those classroom-like programs. U get it? In the process of writing such shareware yourself, you'll realise that u gain tons of knowledge that can't be found in programming books, I tell you. Just ask Jase Jennings how much he has learnt while creating SlideShow Desktop.

Lucy : Interesting Xeon! Ok, so let us move on to the core of this interview session : the meat of XeonAPI.net. What does it really do? Any benefits for programmers?

Xeon : Actually, XeonAPI.net is a platform that covers almost all the boundaries of programming and software development. The XeonAPI.net consists of almost all the technologies implemented by exisiting software giants : only much more powerful, personal, devoted and much less monopoly. In it, you've tools for creating component-based solutions, fully Internet-enabled applications, distributed applications, desktop enviroment-based solutions and much more. Whether you need to create a piece of software that scans the Net for *.jpg files, or whether you need to create a graphics program that can turn a photo of an ugly gurl into a photo of a mountain in 0.26523838 seconds, or whether you wish to develop a program that acts as a office package with over 500,000,000 features, XeonAPI.net has it all.
It's the total revolutionary step to the new age of software creation : you don't have to get stuck using the old and common Win32 APIs etc. They're outdated, guys. XeonAPI.net also have full support for 100% of all the computer technologies in the world, whether it's COM/OLE/COM+/DCOM, or whether it's MFCand ATL, or whether it's Visual Basic/Visual Basi.net or Visual C++/Visual C++.net or Visual C#.net or Visual InterDev.net etc, or whether it's C/C++/C#/SmallTalk,BASIC/HTML,DHTML,XML, etc......XeonAPI.net has it all : you name it.
It also has full support for hardware drivers.....just think of XeonAPI.net as the House that encapsulates every desktop computer and Internet technology and invention that has appeared since mankind was first created.

Lucy : How cool! Oh! What do coders need to have in order to develop for XeonAPI.net?

Xeon : A desktop computer running XeonHouse, the new OS of the new era. Hardware ain't that important, but the processor must be SauroPoseidon and above. For the programming tools, all the coders need is the XeonAPI.net Software Builder, which costs only around US$70, filled with 16 hierachical charts, 7 XeonAPI.net fancy posters, 12 books of 2510 pages code documentation each and 55 discs of 343 sample programs each, as well as the development enviroment, which has the latest tools like BugKiller, which when clicked, finds all the bugs throughout the program and auto-corrects them all. Also included is the StesthoXeon, whereby you type a line of code, and the IDE completes the next 400 lines of code for you. Others include ErrorWiper and WarningsBasher, which eliminates all errors and warnings for you. Last but not least, we also have the infamous GUI Wizard, whereby once you summon it, it will create the ultimate GUI for your program : it knows exactly what kind of GUI you want, by analysing your current thoughts and scanning your current blood-rate, metabolism count, veins beat, and eye pulses. Cheers!

Lucy : Wow Xeon! You're awesome! If only XeonAPI.net was developed before other players came, like Microsoft and such! We humans have wasted tons of money on those OSes and programming tools!

Xeon : You can't be more right, cutie.(smiles)

Lucy : Ok, the time is almost up. We shall end the interview with a question : what is the future of XeonAPI.net?

Xeon : Nice question. The next step I'm taking is to create a very simple version of XeonAPI.net for kids below 6 and under, so that they can program too, using lighter-weight tools and concepts.

Lucy : Wow!(smiles happily) I guess we have to end here now, Sir! Maybe the next interview be as exciting as this one! Wish you success, Xeon!

Xeon : Thanks, and you too, Lucy!(laughs)

Sounds like the developer community are finally about to get the platform and tools they deserve. However, it's inevitable that Microsoft will soon produce a watered down proprietary version tied into the Windows platform, probably called ActiveX.Eon Script or some such ... so get ready to fight your copyright :)

You bring much needed humour to this forum Xeon, may your blade remain ever sharp (and bug free).

# 4 Re: An interview with Xeon : XeonAPI.net
You know... Seeing the interview got me rushing for XeonAPI.Net (TM)... It took a 5min install, and with the amazing Xeon.AutoComplete (TM) I've managed to finish my first native XeonHouse (TM) application in no time flat.

With an API hook, I've tapped into the XeonMindReader (TM) functionality and created AnythingYouWantItToBe.exe (c)
Just think about what you'd like, and start the exe, and it will autocode/compile/link into whatever it is you desire.

I'm currently accepting beta-tester applications for AYWITB (c)V1.00.

Xeon, pal, you're really funny. I like your crazy posts - you bring a smile into this world full of deadlines, marketing *** who don't know what they're talking about, macros that expand to other macros and the eternal seek for answers in the holy MSDN (bleah).
I hope other people see it the same way (especially the moderator).

Ha ha...Gabriel! I feel that it's good to have such posts once in a while to relieve programmers of their stress. Besides, with such warm posts written by a real human, it's healthier for the Visual C++ forum! I bet this forum....is the liviest and warmest around in dev-archive.com! This makes the folks wanna come back, and we're all a united community of coders. :-D
This is.....our land of retreat!

Cheerio, Gabriel!

# 11 Re: An interview with Xeon : XeonAPI.net
Nah pal! When XeonAPI.net first came out, all the programmers rushed to program with it, cos' it's an all-in-one programming universe! Of course, with such a tool, Microsoft, Oracle and Sun and other giants all went outta business, that's why. I'm sorry Lucy didn't ask me what happened to Microsoft and other big boys. Did I tell you that I saw Bill Gates running a small eatery in the heart of Switzerland? Well, I was holidaying with some of the programmers of XeonAPI.net, and he's this great waiter who served me Chicken Chop, Switzerland style! But I think he's much more happier now than when he's a CEO at Microsoft. That's why, Jase. :-D
