Internet Connection Sharing
I have recently established a new AD Domain. My server is the DC and also DNS. I have two NICs, one to the internal network and the other the Internet.
I have turned on ICS for the NIC that is connected to the Internet such that clients on the internal network can get out to the Internet.
The problem is that it does not work. My clients can not resolve the DNS name.
I think the problem is the fact that the WIN 2000 server is designated as a root server. As such, I can not put in a forwarder DNS server.
Can anyone give me so suggestions?
TIA
Rizwan
