Administrating NT
Hi, I wonder if we could have a forum for OS issues. Like I'm a programer, but my work is being slowed down by administration problems. The people who's in charge of this kind of problems are not competent (NT is new to them so far). Until they get the proper training, I wonder where I could get help about that.
I don't ask in the programming forum since it is out of subject.
Since I'm often on dev-archive, because it is a great tool, a community full of helpful people :), it would be useful to have it there, but I would understand if you say "no, it is not the goal of this website, please refer to ...". That's the end of this sentence I'm looking for.
I'm looking for a helpful community of system administrators.
Thanks
Marina

I discovered today the Windows OS Issue forum. That should be where I post my questions about OS. Except that I also discovered (after posting) that it was in the Win 2000 section. Is it only for Win 2000 ?
Please say something, I feel like my questions are so stupid you think it is not worth answering.

No question is stupid. It is just that most people don't really know what to answer.
I don't know about the OS forum as I never have been to concerned and don't think I'll be too much concerned in the coming time.
If you have OS questions, you can always ask them in the OS issues forum, even if it is not W2000. People may know the answer and give it to you.
And if they concern interaction with programming, then you can ask them in the VC++ forum. There is a lot of interactions between VC++ and the window version on which the application run, and sometimes an application will run on one version and not on another.
