Caller ID

Hi. Unless the modem can be set to listen without picking up, there is no way. The callerid info is sent just after the first ring, but only if you don't pick up. My first impression is that it would be easier to build a small interface box between the phone line and the serial port. I think I have heard of software that captures callerid, so some modems must support this feature.
