hi

can somebody tell me a very good location from where I could read/download some cool books about WinAPI. i know just some MFC , but i am smart (my IQ is 186) and i am learning very fast. But you see I whana go deaper... and deaper... starting from 0 and going directly to sky!

Perhaps if you used more meaningful subject lines people would respond! Also many good books have been recommended, which you would have found after a through search...

Personnaly I prefer Meyers, GoF, Alexandresu, Robbins, Prosise.

Its amazing to see for a person with an IQ of 186 has that many spelling mistakes :|.

I think I have always found Charles Petzold's Programming Windows to be a good introduction to the API, along with Jeffrey Richter's Programming Applications for Microsoft Windows. They will give the basics of programming the API and can get you started.

I didn't read any books about WinAPI, the only thing I have is msdn (3 disks)
