Freezing

I'm using XP professional, can anyone tell me possible reasons why my system keeps randomly freezing up? I have to reboot the system from 2 - 4 times a day and its driving me nuts!!! Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like some bad hardware. It is usually either a cpu overheating (check your fan is still running) or memory (you have to replace it to test).mwilliamson at 2007-11-10 3:41:13 >

Could it possibly be the mouse I'm using? It seems that if I leave the system for a few minutes and come back and move the mouse the darn thing freezes more often but sometimes it just freezes while I'm using it. Any further ideas?Rob Pike at 2007-11-10 3:42:19 >
