Formatting

I have notice recent change in this forum's formatting.

Quote button inserts not only [quote] tag but also [b] tag.

I personally would rather prefer adding bolding as needed instead removing it each time.

Bolded quote actually shadows actual post. In addition, makes quote shout.

However, this is only my (not always humble) opinion.

What is yours?

Well...that is interesting...it does not happen for me...

A while ago the default quotation was bold. After several discussions about it Brad decided to change it. Since then the default [b] tags are not showing up...

Brad {/B}{/QUOTE}

I have replaced [ with { to show you a text I am receiving after pushing quote button.
Something is going on.

I have just tried that in normal and enhanced modes and it brings the same template.
Maybe there is a setting I have changed without realizing?

Brad,

although it does not happen for me, I have to admit that I saw some bolded quotes since this morning...so could this be user-defined?

It seems that it only happens to some posters...

Brad

I'm working to track this down....
I have an idea of where the issue may be.....

Thanks for the tip that it is happening here and there. That has helped...

If you are getting the bolding in quotes, then...

Select the User CP button near the top of the page.
This will take you to the User Control Panel page.

Select Edit Options. (not Edit Profile)
This will list the options screen with your selected options.

Near the bottom is a selection for setting the Style to use. Make sure this says Default and not New Look.

Save the change

The new look selection should not have been available. This was an old template that was used to make some changes that have already been added to the default site. I just turned off the option to allow people to select New Look since it is out dated.

Brad!
