Memory Erosion..
My problem is the loss of available memory over a period of time.
Using Windows95 and work mostly with VC++.
With a fresh boot I have about 43% of memory used. After doing some work in MS Dev Editor for perhaps half-hour or so, I can
close MSVC and return to desktop. I then find that my used memory has grown to about 80%. I suspect that this has nothing to do with MSVC and it sure smells like a Virus. Can there be any other explanation? And what course of action would you reccommend? .... Thanks for any help here. :mad:

Thanks, I visited TRENDmicro and used their scanner. It did find 2 infected files (The virus was JS KAKWORM A. ) and deleted them.
Unfortunately that did not solve the problem Perhaps I have one that is not yet on their database. Any further ideas would certainly be appreciated. :mad:
A further question: Is it possible that a memory leaking program could be the problem? Even if some program did have such a leak, it would not persist after the program terminated- would it?
..hmm (grasping at straws).
