dual boot help
hi, i installed 2 os in my pc..both are in seperate partition...C: contains WinXP D: containED win2000Server..
i deleted drive D: by mistake and now my D: is empty...
now when ever my PC restarts... it stil goes to the screen where i am supposed to select from WinXp and Win2Kserver to boot...
but there is nothing in the D Drive!!!:eek:
i even formatted the D drive...but still before starting it goes to the OS select screen fior me to select from WinXp and Win@k...
please help how do i stop that screen from comin everytime?

Well...you would need to edit the 'boot.ini' file (should be in 'C:\'). Delete the entry which is responsible for loading Windows 2000.
If the screen is still coming up, set the 'timeout' to 0...

Ahhh...well did not think of that one since I usually display all the files (even hidden etc.) automatically since basically 10 years... :rolleyes:

i am scared of that...if acidently i delete a hidden file...thats it!:eek:
