Book winners - Dec / Jan

From last week's dev-archive eNewsletter -

It is time to give away a couple of books once again. Below
are the winners for December and January. These winners were
chosen because their articles were the most viewed during
the month they were posted or updated. They each have won
their choice of either:

The article authors need to contact me at webmaster@dev-archive.com
within the next 60 days to claim their book.

Brad,
So there is a way to tell how many people view an article? Is this available to article authors? I had asked about this functionality months ago and wasn't aware that it was already implemented.

How can we see how many views of an article there are?

Unfortunately there is not a public method for doing this yet. We have site reporting software that tells me the top pages for the sites I oversee. I don't get all numbers for all pages, so I don't know how many views every article gets. I primarily focus on those that are very high in page views.
