I thinlk we are having a problem with our MDAc. Our Sysadmin

Installed MDAC 2.8 Now when trying to execute this code:

Set rec = con.execute(strQuery & " select @@identity").nextrecordset
evID = rec(0)

We get :

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'

Type mismatch

Any Idea Why?
