SMS and MMS protocol

I need to develop an application using the SMS and MMS protocol in order to send attachement.

It will be easier to upload the attachment to a web server, and then send a WAP Push to trigger the download on the recipient phone.

Many SMS Gateway ( http://www.visualtron.com) software can deliver WAP Push.
