Space of few Few pixels added to ComboBox/EditCtrl
Hi*!
I have a simple dialogbox & I have placed a few contrls over it from the resource editor. Everything works ok besides i get few pixels added to the front of my ctrl am attaching a screenshot of the ctrl. You can see that the Text in the ctrl start not from the very beginning of the left border. Any comments/suggestions are most welcome.

What is the problem ? It is how edit/combo controls show the text.
Well the problem is if you look "carefully" you'll see the text start (as I have already mentioned in my post also) after a few pixels not from the very left but very left + few pixles. And i have seen same controls on M$ Application where the text starts from very left.

It is kind of shifted to the left.
Are you using themes? What OS version?
Is it regular combo box or you are using customized combo?

Thanks for the reply John. Its just a normal combox (i get the same behaviour of few additional pixels for EditCtrl too). I am attaching a screen shot of a M$ Application and you can see that the text (its an EditCtrl for Passwords) from the very left. My controls are all normal controls, i dont do any overriding of any behaviour atleast not now, i am using VS .NET 2003. And the OS is WinXp. And yes I am using WinXP themes but it should be the same for M$'s Apps Ctrls.
