this is the only place i know to ask right now but im STUCK
it took me a while to get IE it to work to get to here.

i was trying to open a file with>right click>open with
and it wouldnt work because i think the (open with) icons are packed full
so this is were the trouble started
XP PRO
control panel>Appearance and Themes>folder option>file type>new
it asked for a> file extension so i typed >EXE
i think the advance tab was highlited >apllication but im not sure
and now every thing on my pc not working
i cant even open up system restore because its asking to open with

i cant get any thing to work not even if i dirrect to to open it with the apllication its suppose to,,,,,,,,, i think some were or how i need to re set the advance tab or some thing.......

lot of all my desk top and program menue exe icons are all messed up , not even showing any of there orgnial images.
they ALL look the same now..

i went back to see if i could remove the >file extension
but i dont see it
