I've got problem. I have instaled Win 2003 Server. It is running for several months now and I'm pretty sure that everything is OK. Couple weeks ago I add new user which is connecting to server via Terminal Services (Remote desktop). Alas I get message that temporary license for this user is end so I have to get one. I understand the mechanism of temporary licenses and I understand why it has expired. I have only one question. I've heard that when remote system, which is connecting to Win 2003, is using Win XP I can get license without additional payment. Does anybody hear something about it?
