Hi !

I am a newbie in this field, I have read some books on intel 8085 and 68k motorola and recently I have been studying the ARM developer's guide.

Some I am not getting a bigger picture here, with 8085 I tested my code on a compiler software that i downloaded from the intenet, but with ARM I don't know what to do.

1. I need some guidance on how to apply knowledge about the processor after you've learned its architecture and how to program it.

2. Is a processor interface absolutely essential for direct application ? In 8085 I didn't need one as I compiled everything on the software?
