Removing Program from "Add or Remove Programs" list
I have a program that is listed in the Windows Control Panel's "Add or Remove Programs List" but the program itself and all of its related folders no longer exist on the computer. When I click to remove the program it reports that it cannot find the necessary uninstall data, so it doesn't uninstall. But it leaves the program in the list.
Is there any way to get rid of it from the list, since it's already actually gone from the computer?

Under the system registry there is a key that holds this information. The key is "Uninstall". Here is the path. Just delete the key with that application. You may have to do some searching.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

You can download a Free one month trial version of System Mechanic 5 from http://www.iolo.com/. In this s/w there is a option "Clean--> Unstall Software --> Remove Entry" this will definitely resolve yur problem
