An IRC Channel for codeguru regulars?

Is there an IRC server/channel that the Visual C++ board members frequent? I did a search on the boards and came across a deadend thread by a guy asking the same question I am, so here I ask again.

I currently join #C++ on Undernet, but it's inconvenient to ask alot of Visual C++ questions in there because most of the community are *NIX users, or at the very least, non-VS people.

So, is there any IRC channel in which Visual C++ questions and discussions are welcome?

Thank you in advance,

Eric

Eh... I woudln't say that. I 'm a channel op in #c++ on undernet and I don't think it's a bunch of *nix users. In fact, most of us are ops in #vc++ as well.

What you _will_ find is that #vc++ is pretty dormant compared to #c++ and that a lot of Visual questions either get lost or simply the people currently active don't specialize in MFC/VC++ enough to give an answer.

Overall, I still think you're better off coming here for VC++ related questions or when you have more in-depth questions that require some thought, a good amount of posted code, and/or a test run by a fellow CG member that's willing to give up some of his/her time. But if you need hands on, interactive support, feel free to drop by #c++ or #vc++ and say hello ;)
