Hi all,

I've just inistalled the above on a clean build PC that had no Database on it. I have installed the Developer Edition.

I watched the install and there seemed to be no errors, however from the start menu, I only have the configuration tools available to me and not the Administration tool that allows me to create databases/tables/SP's etc. Does anyone know what I have to do to get this feature as the configuration tools aren't much use on their own.

Answer: It appears that in the developer edition only, the tools are not installed as standard as in workgroup/enterprise editions and instead you have to delve into the DVD to find the setup.....why microsoft has done this is beyond me...since you cant do much without the front end tools.
