Well, I keep getting it. I know there is a user limit that he/she can only post every 30 seconds but it seems that any user can only post every 30 seconds.Each of my posts were minutes apart yet I still got...

Are you getting this when you try to post quicker than 30 seconds or at other times? THe reason for the 30 second limit is to stop or at least slow down spammers.Brad!

I got it once today, and I'm pretty sure that it was longer than one minute between posts. EDIT: Just happened again http://www.dev-archive.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1434265#post1434265
noticed that the time was an hour off, also! thought that was fixed.
Hmm. The Edited time is correct in this post.

I got the very same error as well today!On my very first post, I got it. Initially I thought that I perhaps double clicked the Post button, so I went to the thread, so my post wasn't there. So I had to Post it again. The second time I posted it, it was fine.

THe reason for the 30 second limit is to stop or at least slow down spammers.Brad!If that's the only reason, remove limitation for users with, say, 100+ posts posted week ago. Spammer will not live that long and user with such amount of posts will unlikely turn in spammer. I usually hit that limitation when making last-minute fixes using edit function.

All the changes that are "hacked" into the vBulletin software will be cancelled with the next patch/upgrade. Plus, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

One of the server's clocks was out of sync with the others by 30 seconds. While 30 seconds doesn't seem like much, it can cause issues on a very busy forum like this one. The time on all the servers was reset and resychronized this week-end, so thing should all be back to working. Brad!

I wonder if this has anything to do with the "Missing Posts" from the "Last One to Post" thread in CC.Seems like a few of us saw 4996 posts, while others saw 4596!
We lost 500 posts in the flash of an eye.
