this is a thing I have known about a while. the process of factory farming.and putting the small farm out of business and pumping your meat full of preservatives and antibiotics. :mad:

Actually there is a similar problem with fruits and vegtables lately. Not the Organic ones, but definitely the ones at walmart and meijers. Even if you have organically grown fruit there, it has to be shipped which means it may have to chemicals to keep it fresh and intact from pests.

The new farming techniques use fertilization processes and enrichment processes that make the fruit ripe before its time. Then not all the vitamins go in the fruit.

Hard to have empathy for a fruit though. I dont think they suffer much. :D
