will Harry Potter die?
A funny story I read today.

It seems that J.K. Rowling announced that two major characters will die in her last book about Harry Potter, which made Stephen King and John Irving to plea for Harry's life. ;)
What do you think? Will Harry die in the end?

I saw that, media made it a major news.:)
I think it's justified if harry dies, you see he has no special powers and his main support is already down, so it's quite possible that he/hermione use same technique as his mother used to save him to take Loard Voldemort down.
It's ofcourse do not look right if the dark lord (who is so super-duper powered that Dumbledore himself is not competent enough in front of him) killed by some kids. ;)
I would suggest J.K. Rowlings to show such an ending that viewers/readers get little clue that dark lord has something left to recover after his death. :D

In my opinion Harry is not going to die, because author has not enough guts to kill him. Its against all pop-culture trends. I can think of two scenarios:
1. Harry and his girlfriend die, but this somehow happens to be not permament
2. These 'two major characters' are main badacc and one of Harry's fiends/teachers/family/whoever.
If it somehow comes thath Harry dies AND WHOLE STORY ENDS, I would be very positively surprised.

Speaking of Dumbledor's "death" what made you change your mind?
I don't really care about Harry, but Dumbledore is the man and I would be greatly disapointed if it won't be resurected.

I think that he was too smart to be caught in a trap like that and die so silly. I thought (or perhaps liked to thought) that is a just a part of a master plan forged by him to turn Snape into the trusted henchman of Voldemort.
