Java Application Architect / Team Lead

The successful candidate for this position will;

Review the client's current Customer Care web service implementation (Visual Basic Dot Net, using Internet Information Service)

Architect a Java based Customer Care web service to replace their existing implementation.

The new architecture must be:

Object Oriented
Enterprise grade
Large scale - high level of service
Mission critical
Transaction intensive

Design the new web service to operate in two modes of operation:

a) Integrated into the client's external API
b) Standalone customer care API

Lead a team to implement the design and deliver on time against a challenging schedule.
