Quality Process Analyst
Main responsibilities:
Review and analysis of all internal and external problem reports (PRs)
Owner of the PR root-cause analysis & Corrective Action Plan implementation plan
Manage the planning and scheduling of the field problem resolutions in all releases.
Ensure all critical problems addressed in a timely fashion.
Management of all testing metrics and analysis of the those metrics
Oversight of all testing processes
Assist in Quality assessment of the overall system features
Grouping PRs by features
Plan PRs validation in the most efficient way
Overall Responsibilities:
Responsible for the ongoing review and analysis of the quality our software products. This will include review of all production and open reported problems, a thorough analysis of the root cause and the implementation of corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. Responsibilities also include the establishment and oversight of quality processes and improvement initiatives in the Product Quality Assurance area. This will include establishing the appropriate metrics and processes that result in the continuous quality improvement of our software products. Need to develop a Root Cause Analysis process and oversee the process to ensure timely review and correction of cause. The individual should have experience in quality standards and methodologies in particular ISO9001, CMM and Six Sigma.
Qualifications:
5+ years proven experience and capabilities in SW Quality improvement process
Proven experience with various analytical tools and processes
ISO9001/CMM experience is required
Ability to define and deploy new methodologies
Strong analytical and presentation skills
Processes Oriented and strong service attitude.
At least 1-2 years of experience in similar position.
Self learner, self motivated, excellent team player.
Ability to work independently in a matrix organization.
Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
Software development/testing experience an advantage
