Forum help!

Hi im new here and im not sure where to post this so if its in the wrong place sorry.

I recently said i would design a layout for a php forum and have just relized it will be alot harder than i expected lol. Anyways can anyone tell me if there are any programs that i can use to change the layout and basically anything that will help me lol

Have a look at http://www.opensourcescripts.com/cgi-bin/pseek/search.cgi
and search for "forum". You'll get the sources for 27 forum applications.

I do agree phpBB is very good but it has very little ability to change layouts. You can change images and color scheme, but not layout.

If you design to change layout, you might as well just write your own. Not many forum software pieces have their own ability to redesign layout.
