[RESOLVED] 2006 Baseball World Series

I've always been a Mets fan. I was kinda hoping to see another subway series, but, alas, the Yankees fell apart there...

Detroit, New York, St Louis, etc... Isn't that a bit too little to call it 'world' series?

I try watching baseball but I never understand the game.. it is too complicated.. you miss the hit you can win or you can lose.. need to do some googling to get the basics right.. :)

Baseball is easy to watch and understand. There are only a few basic rules that are in effect for the whole game. There is no time limit, and the game isn't over until someone WINS!

I liked my home team (as I do every year) but, they're out of it.

All the fuss about the foreign substance on Kenny Rogers hands kind of detracts from it but after the first inning it was gone.
Maybe he scratched his behind a little to hard...

Actually, the Cards are my favorite NL team. My grandfather was a rabid Cards fan. If I had to choose a NL team I wanted to win, it would be St. Louis.

Maybe next year.
