Does anyone have a clue how to fix my problem?

We have an Excel Workbook which is used as a purchasing form. It is accessed through our company intranet using Internet Explorer. On some machines (dinosaurs running Windows 98) when viewing the form through Internet Explorer the text in a checkbox control doesn't scale correctly when printing. They are really just a text labels put near the checkbox.

The text shows up too small. If I start Excel Independent of Internet Explorer, I open and print the file and the text near the control scales correctly in the printout. I show a partial screen shot of the checkboxes.
Any suggestions as to how to procede?
