MSDN Webcast movies
I've just found these (http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/visualc/learning/) MSDN webcast movies about C++ on Microsoft's web page and I was wondering if these are open to the public, or are they only for certain viewers. I'm asking this because when I tried to view one (http://msevents.microsoft.com/CUI/WebCastEventDetails.aspx?EventID=1032263529&EventCategory=3&culture=en-US&CountryCode=US) of them I had to fill in a form that had some fields that I couldn't fill in(something about my business address and stuff like that). Thanks.

Those seemed to be open to anyone. One of the changes you are going to see more and more on the web is a requirement to provide more and more information about yourself to get higher quality content. For a lot of MIcrosoft content -- such as webcasts -- you have to register. These registrations generally ask for business information. It usually isn't much of an issue to give this. Once you've given the bits of information, you should have access to the videos and such. With a lot of Microsoft stuff, if you set up a passport or Windows Live ID, then you only have to confirm such information in the future and not keep entering it.
Brad!
