Job Description:

The Implementation Engineer will work in concert with the Client Project Manager to achieve smooth and seamless installations of our enterprise software product lines. The Implementation Engineer provides oversight of all of the technical aspects of the software implementation activities at the client site, including the organizing and integration of all activities associated with the installation of the interactive software product and interface.

The Implementation Engineer should be highly technical, but have strong client-facing interpersonal skills.

This position requires extensive planned and unplanned travel (75%) to client sites and will function as a Tier-3 resource to the Technical Support team.

Qualifications:

Minimum 4-6 years on-site client implementation experience
Ability to work with both local and remote team members
Strong understanding of HTML and web protocols
Working knowledge of Visual Basic 6.0, COM/DCOM, Installshield, Wise, Oracle/SQL Server programming, Javascript, VB script
Strong SQL 2000/Oracle 8/9i debugging and optimization skills desired
Demonstrates the ability to respond actively, sensitively, and appropriately to the needs of customers
Knowledge of the process for designing and implementing relational databases
Willingness to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation as Tier-3 resource
Citrix deployment/troubleshooting
Familiarity with Salesforce
Crystal Reports experience
Working knowledge of various Operating Systems
Experience working in a 24x7 production environment
An advanced knowledge in Windows 2000, XP, Win2003, Active Directory, IIS, SQL, Oracle, and Load Balancing
Experience with the design / implementation of relational databases preferred
Experience leading/creating/reviewing the documentation of functional requirements/ functional specs
Working knowledge of Active Directory, XML, .Net Framework, security
Developing monitoring alerts and quick guides to ensure quick resolution of known issues Maintain metrics for applications
SQL 2005 exposure desired
