Articles: Print View, Adverts
Hi friends. :)
Not to rant against adverts, but I see little point in including them in the print view of an article.
You can't click on paper!
Plus, they obstruct the article text a little.
I often print developer articles at work and it would be nice if the adverts could be removed for this view.

I'll bring this up once again with the internal powers above me. There is a likely chance this isn't going to change, however, the more complaints about it that happen, the more likely it could. ;)

This is insane. The link below clearly says Print this article and any 5th grader would be able to say that it is what it means, no stinking ads in the print out.
Perhaps, the powers be would at least change the words to "Print this article , and get one ad free" instead :rolleyes:

I wouldn't print any pages that had 1/2 page ads. They do seem kind of silly in the browser, having to scroll (or click past?) the ad. Yet, you can't do that on paper.
Tell the ad people to put the ads on the 2nd page. That way we can all turn the page over, and print the ads on the back. Saves paper, too!
