Yahoo Sounds: Opening/Closing Door...

I can't get them that server is too slow, and they dont install on Vista.

I already know that, this is why I'm trying to get the old sounds...

I have a brand new laptop and its hard to get a new computer now that doesnt have vista preinstalled, or you have to pay more to have Xp or something else installed.

The new sounds on vista are really tiny whisp sound that I cant even hear and its very annoying to me because I've been use to the old sounds for years.

I don't know what the sounds are called, but they are the sound effects for contact comming online and going offline, in the older versions.

If you can get them that would be awsome. You should be able to zip them and attach them to the thread incase anyone else ever looks for them. Otherwise just send me a PM when you have them and I'll give you my email address.

Thanks, that would be awesome. I don't think I've ever heard the Yahooo sound but I would be interested in hearing it too if you can find it.

I don't know if you've ever heard the new sounds-the ones they play on Vista but they suck ***. I can't believe that they included them instead of the old sounds. When your use to listening to the same sound for years and all of a sudden they change them its really annoying.

I think the sound files should be small enough to attach to the thread, if not PM me and I'll give you my email address.

I live on the WI/IL border, so I think we are pretty close.
