[RESOLVED] I am new to forums...
I wanted to thank everyone for their feedback...which was: post this elsewhere. Now I wanted to delete this and don't see a link, button, etc. for deleting it. Cany you help? Thanks.
I am not sure if it is inappropriate to post the following; if it is, then I will retract it with your help, and apologize.
I am trying to put a team of entrepreneurs together to create a new website with much potential. A number of key team members will have to be website designers, coders, database managers, etc.
Can anyone tell me where would be a good place to start with putting the team together? I am in South Orange County, CA, and would like to have team members who are local, if possible, to facilitate in-person meetings to discuss progress.
Thank you. (important@emiarmor.com)

I think the key is to find the right forum to post to. This is a Java programming forum and your question doesn't seem to include any Java programming problems.

I believe there is a help wanted forum somewhere on here, you can try posting in there.
Java isn't really suited for designing websites, unless they are more complex web applications. There are a lot of things out there using JSP and all that, however you're probably better off looking for PHP or Ruby on Rails programmers as they're usually a lot more familiar with website construction and other web technologies (HTTP, HTML, etc.). Those languages are more developer-friendly and you'll be able to get a working app up and running in a lot less time than you would with Java.
Don't quote me on all that though, I'm just talking from my experiences dealing with Java and Java programmers.

... I chose this forum since I thought Java programmers are good at both the front and back end of websites...Certainly, Java can be used at both the front and back end of websites, but your question was: Can anyone tell me where would be a good place to start with putting the team together?Which is a management / organisational issue, nothing to do with Java.
You could try TheServerSide (http://www.theserverside.com/).
