Job responsibilities

- Port an existing ASIC design to work on FPGA for use as a prototyping environment.
- Modify the ASIC design to support this transition
- Consultant should be capable of learning what the current VHDL does and then come up with a synchronous version that will work in an FPGA complete with a testbench that verifies it is correct.

Required skills:
VHDL
Digital Design and Verification
Experience working with Xilinx FPGAs
Experience working with Syplicity Synthesis Tools

Desired skills:
ASIC design experience a plus.
