Progress Questions
Hey folks. I am having a terrible time trying to learn some pretty old software (not much info about them around anymore). I am a network Admin (0 db experience) who has been shouldered with DB issues... I have a progress database (v9.1) that I need a bit of help with. My issue is that I am not sure how things are structured. I am trying to edit some old (v8.5) crystal reports but I cannot find the tables that are linked.
I can find the tables in a .r file, but I am not sure how to convert them to a db file...Please let me know if I am even in the right zip code, or point me in the direction of some reading material that might shed some much needed light on this. Also, my database seems to be password protected and I need a suggestion on getting around that. Thanks for the help and sorry for the total noob questions...

I have found the databases and re-developed the form. The issue that I am having now is that I cannot get the bin information to pull from my database. I can pull part numbers, POnumbers and such, but the Bin number will not transfer. Any ideas?

Can you export the old tables? Then, import them into the new table structures?

That is what I would like to do, but I am not quite sure of the method...What are the steps to exporting a Progress Database? Thanks.
