ask passowrd while unistalling product

Hi Friends,

Is thr any way to prompt for a password when any one try to uninstall my VB 6.0 application (.msi) from control panel.Protect your PC with a password and nobody will be able to get access to your PC and cannot delete your VB 6.0 IDE from your machine.

Or do you mean, you have written an application using VB6. and have distributed it and now you would like that the user has to put in a password to delete this application again ?

If so why do you want this. As it is maybe not the right of everybody to use your application, but all users should everytime being able to delete an application on their PC, they dont want anymore. So this idea isn't that one I would force with my hints.

I suspect its a security feature similar to that semetimes seen in AntiVirus and Firewall software to stop unauthorised persons removing it.

He said that he wants to forbid anyone also the administrtor to kill his prozess or to uninstall his program. TIS IS NO NORMAL BEHAVIOUR
