My client has an existing VB6 application (SQL Server DB). The client would like to enable remote processing for one of the application functions to capture events in the yard. I have done a (very basic) prototype with WM5 running a distributed db and application ( I wrote this in VB.NET with SQL Mobile DB). Before I go any further with this, I would like to explore running the existing vb6 app as a thin client on a WM5 device. The current app is running on a full screen so I realize that I would need to add a new interface to fit onto the WM5 screen. I'm having trouble getting the initial info of how this would look from a development perspective and where I could get some of this info (this may be the wrong forum...).



If someone could give me some basic pointers I would really appreciate it. I want to know:



-- is running an existing vb6 app on a WM5 RDP connection feasable (once the screen size issue and network connectivity are addressed).

-- where can I get info on methods for developing for the smaller screen size in VB6 -- note that the application would still also run in its current full screen format.
