USB Scanners and USB Keyboards for POS operation

I have a doubt to link USB BT-4500 scanners and USB keyboards with VB 6 programming.If one of you know let me know commands and way to link them together.

I searched but didn't find anything about the BT-4500. I am assuming that those are barcode scanners. Am I correct?What do you mean by linking? Remember that a barcode scanner acts as a keyboard. All it does is send keystrokes and then finishes with the return key.
