Read MS-Excel file through EVC++ 4.0

I want to read MS-Excel file using EVC++ 4.0.The file contain strings.How this could be done?Thanks in Advance.

i have tried to solve the problem by using CDataBAase Class i.e by using ODBC but ther is no support CDataBAase class in EVC++ 4.0.Is there is any other way to do so?Note::Also there is no driver of MS-excel in Window -CE 5.0.
